Packages will ship within 120 hours of receipt of payment and order confirmation ( Monday - Friday - holidays and weekends excluded). We will do our best to ship immediately, but please understand putting forth a quality effort takes time. We are designers, not freight handlers.
All items are shipped directly from Portland, Oregon via Federal Express or USPS Mail.
Packages will typically arrive in one to two weeks from shipment without any problems in transit due to weather, act of god, or rowdy studio parties that keep us from working late to procure your shipment.
For items shipped out of country of origin ( USA) a duty will more than likely be assessed at your point of entry border. This fee is in addition to your item and subject to your payment for release. Any package that is returned to our studio because the customer did not clear duties, or other reason will be returned to stock. Elsewhere and www.thinkelsewhere.com is not responsible for any actions taken by customs or the shipping company in regard to your package delivery.
Once again, please keep in mind that the customer is responsible for any customs charges that may be applied to your package. Customs determines these charges by country and place of manufacture. We do not assume any responsibility for estimates for duty in your country.
We will happily accept returns of goods or defective merchandise which are with original packaging and unused. We ask that you make all requests for return of your order/ goods within 3 days of your receipt of purchase with an email to our studio email : [email protected]
To submit a claim, first email us your needs with a copy of the receipt, a description of your claim, and a photo of said item(s). Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email with a return #, instructions on how to send your package, and an address for the return. Once the return is in our studio and approved, refunds will be made to the original form of purchase.
Shipping costs for an exchange will not be refunded, however we will return to exchanged item to you at our cost within the USA borders. In the case of a replacement item, we will cover the cost of the shipping for the return entirely.
We ask that you ship items back to us in a traceable manner with a reputable carrier. We might also suggest you purchase insurance from that carrier to be sure your rear is covered in case the shipper loses the package. Elsewhere is not responsible for damaged or lost returns. We will not issue refunds for goods that are lost or damaged on their journey back to our studio.
Please Note: Magazines, Books, Edibles, and Vintage goods are all considered final sale and are not available for return/refund. All returns must be back in our studio within 21 days to receive a full refund.
Please keep in mind we will do everything we can to make your time with us an enjoyable one. We only put all this info in here so that we can keep any assumptions out of the equation. We want to be as clear as we can be. We reserve all rights to bend the rules in your favor to make every attempt to keep you as a loyal fan of Elsewhere.
