We like collecting vintage items. They often inspire us to make an item, travel to a place or research the maker.

Over the years that we have been at it we've amassed many antique quilts through visits with collectors, consolidators and even a flea market or two. Quilts, quilts and more quilts. Too many for one couple to have with no planned use for them. Most of our collection date back to the 1930's- 1950's. Beautifully handcrafted, these quilts tell a deep story of the time , place and even person that crafted them.

We had been acquiring quilts from two main contacts - one in Tacoma, Washington-Orange Crush Exports (thanks Jess) and one in Santa Fe, New Mexico- Santa Fe Vintage (thanks Scott). Both spots require an appointment. Both collectors helped educate us about the quality and age of our quilts. Both have epic collections. We're very fortunate to have their support for this edition.

"Some would even say we started ELSEVVHERE to give purpose to our 'hoarding'." - Jasen Bowes

We hope you enjoy getting a look at the quilt patterns prior to cutting. Keep in mind some of these quilts are still in our collection and were not used for Edition 010.
